CT 34 – Ned

Ned was born c. 1731 in the West Division of Hartford. He was enslaved by John Whitman beginning at age 11. He was baptised in the First Church Hartford on January 31, 1742. By 1790, he was no longer enslaved in the West Division by 1790, but we don’t know whether he was freed, escaped, or had died.
