It’s almost time for the 5th Annual MWLC Juneteenth Jubilee! A celebration of triumph and history and learning about Juneteenth with the New Paltz community. This is the 5th year in a row we will host an all-day extravaganza to help honor and remember the formerly enslaved Africans that were integral to the Village of New Paltz’s history. PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE:
10:00am-11:00am – New Paltz Rural Cemetery Program and Event (Same Day-Separate Program and Tickets)
The 5th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee starts with drumming and a drum procession that everyone can participate in.
11:30am–Drumming at the Historic Ann Oliver House (located at 5 Broadhead Ave)
11:50am-Drum Processional to Historic Huguenot Street – (5 minute walk from the Ann Oliver House) – To the Main Event Location: Historic Huguenot Street – 81 Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY
12:00pm-4pm- Assorted programming, performances, celebrations and food!
